&lt;p&gt;There is so much writing in our working lives. It’s not just documents, and emails anymore. It’s Slack and Teams. It’s comments on tickets and pull requests. In this post-pandemic world, so much of our communication is written first. Rarely are we around a desk talking anymore.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you’re dyslexic, like me, that can be exhausting.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My default writing style is blunt, simple, quick. I don’t trust my spelling. &lt;p&gt;I’ve gone back and forth on starting a blog more times than I can count.
Mostly because I told myself I didn’t have anything worth saying.
Or that I didn’t have the time.
Or that putting half-formed thoughts on the internet sounded like a great way to invite criticism from people who know more than I do.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;All fair excuses.
